Imagine yourself as a new baby ... crawling ... a toddler. Did you have a "weight problem"? an "eating disorder"? Obviously, not. So your current eating patterns are LEARNED.

It isn't about pills, diets and exercise at all. It never was. It's about going to the heart of it all. Your choice center. The part of you that decides what to eat and whether or not to move. Real, permanent, lasting change must occur there. It must or our habits will not change.
My personal answer wasn't in pills, diets or exercise. I tried that way, so many times. On the surface, it is such an easy thing to do. But for some reason, it was very difficult for me.
It is important to recognize that there my MY truth and there is YOUR truth - but they are not THE truth.
All I have to offer you is my own experience. I can tell you about the dramatic and thrilling changes in my own life. Perhaps that will help you to find your way, and perhaps it will not. But all we have to truly share with each other is authentic experience. That is what I want most from others and what I offer to you.
What has worked for me is to develop a VISION of the way I want to be, of the life I want. I have turned my vision into flesh and blood, and it is so compelling that I will do anything to get it. And so ends the dreadful war that has always gone on inside:
Me #1: I really would like a couple of those cookies.
Me #2: No! I made a commitment to eat lots of raw fruits and vegetables, and that's what I will eat.
Me #1: Oh, but it's been such a long day, and you're tired out from working hard, and you deserve those cookies. It's good to love and appreciate ourselves.
Me #2: But ...
And so it goes.
Actually, "and so it went" is much more accurate now. I am no longer at war with myself. I feel a strong inner peace and contentment. My desires and my will work in harmony, and I naturally want to do what's best for me.
I have a glorious vision. I spend lots of time imagining it, making it more real. And the more I do this, the better it gets!
Delicious. Much better than food ever was!
